Publishing Your Property
Complete the readiness checklist and publish your property listing.
Before your property goes live on Tuluyan, it needs to pass a readiness checklist. This ensures that guests see a complete listing with all the information they need to book.
The Readiness Checklist
Your property overview page shows a checklist of everything required before you can publish. All items must be completed:
- Property name: a clear name that tells guests what to expect
- Description: a description of your property and what makes it a good place to stay
- Location: city and province so guests can find your property
- Check-in and check-out times: so guests know when they can arrive and when they need to leave
- At least one photo: guests want to see the space before they book
- At least one room type: defines the kind of rooms you offer (e.g., Standard Room, Deluxe Suite)
- At least one unit: a physical room or space that can be assigned to guests
- At least one product with pricing: a bookable offering with rates (e.g., "Standard Room, overnight, PHP 1,500/night")
- Payment methods configured: at least one payment method so guests can pay
- Property verification: your property must be verified (status is "unverified", "pending", or "verified")
The checklist updates in real time. As you complete each requirement, the item is checked off. You can publish as soon as everything is green.
How Verification Works
Property verification confirms that your listing represents a real accommodation. This protects guests and builds trust in the platform. The verification process is handled by the Tuluyan team and typically involves confirming your property's existence and ownership.
Publishing Your Property
Once all checklist items are complete:
- Go to your property overview page
- Click the link in the readiness banner to go to the dedicated publish page (
/operator/properties/[id]/publish) - Click Publish
- Your listing is now live and visible to guests
That is it. Your property is now publicly accessible.
Your Public URL
After publishing, your property gets a public URL based on your property name:
tuluyan.com/p/your-property-slug
The slug is auto-generated from your property name. For example, "Casa Marina Transient House" becomes /p/casa-marina-transient-house.
Share this link anywhere: on your Facebook page, in Viber groups, on business cards, or in your Google Business profile.
Your public URL is one of the most valuable things you get from publishing. Share it everywhere you already talk to potential guests. A direct link means they can book without searching or comparing.
Taking Your Property Offline
To take your property offline, toggle the active switch off on the properties list page. This hides your listing from guests but does not delete any data. Your rooms, products, bookings, and settings are all preserved. You can toggle it back on whenever you are ready.
After Publishing
Once your property is live, take a few minutes to:
- Visit your public URL. See your listing the way guests see it. Check that photos look good, descriptions are accurate, and pricing is correct.
- Share your link. Post it on your social media, send it to regulars, add it to your Google Maps listing.
- Update your photos. Properties with more photos get more bookings. Add shots of common areas, the view, nearby landmarks, and the bathroom.
- Ask a friend to test the booking flow. Have someone go through the process to make sure everything works smoothly from the guest side.
